Adapting Joss Whedon’s final episode of the television show Angel, Angel: Not Fade Away works as a prequel of sorts for IDW’s ongoing Angel: After the Fall series, which itself takes place directly following the infamously ambiguous cliffhanger that constituted the end of the Buffy-verse in its original run.
