Top 10 Songs of Q1 2009
Typically, the spring months are thin on great records. Every now and then, you get an “Oxford Comma” or “Heimdalsgate Like a Promethean Curse”. But more often, the classics are born on the Fourth of July (or, you know, around there somewhere). This year has been a pleasant exception the rule, thanks in large part to Animal Collective, Dark Was The Night and the advance release of a single from everyone’s favorite French popsters.
Check out our list of the Top 10 Songs of Q1 2009 and let us know what you think.

Blake… its Josh Stewart. Bryan’s friend. Come on… Lion in a Coma #4? Really… Brother Sport is much better pop song. You can do better, I believe in you Peter Pan.
Also, I went to a house show w/ Wavves, they were great. Also check this band, Teenage Cool Kids and Ferguson and Geronimo. http://www.myspace.com/teenagecoolkids Not usre what the other URL is but search em.
Last… no N.A.S.A on there… if you don’t know them you need to. Great Hip-Hop.
